Security Protocol
Scam Awareness
Phishing Links: Never click on suspicious links in emails or messages. Always verify the URL directly in your browser before entering any credentials.
Recovery Phrase Theft: Recovery phrases are your most critical asset. Never share them, and ensure your device is physically secured in a safe environment.
Unofficial Wallets: Only use Ledger's official hardware wallet. Third-party clones are designed to steal your private keys and are extremely dangerous.
Unverified Apps: Only download Ledger apps from official app stores. Avoid third-party marketplaces that may contain malicious software.

THE PRIVATE KEY RULE
Never share your 24 words
Recovery phrases are the ultimate keys to your digital assets. Treat them with the same level of physical security as your home keys. Never share your recovery phrase, PIN, or private keys with anyone. Scammers often use social engineering tactics to trick you into revealing these critical details. Always store your recovery phrase in a secure, offline location, such as a locked safe or a secure digital vault. If you lose your device, your recovery phrase is the only way to restore access to your Ledger wallet and its contents.
